Abstract

Renin plays a critical role in fluid and electrolyte homeostasis by cleaving angiotensinogen to produce Ang peptides. Whilst it has been demonstrated that renin mRNA is expressed in the brain, the distribution of cells responsible for this expression remains uncertain.
