Lipid extraction by methyl-tert-butyl ether for high-throughput lipidomics

Abstract

Accurate profiling of lipidomes relies upon the quantitative and unbiased recovery of lipid species from analyzed cells, fluids, or tissues and is usually achieved by two-phase extraction with chloroform.
