Noise reduction by multiple referencing in surface plasmon resonance imaging

Abstract

The analytical performance of surface plasmon resonance imaging with charge coupled device detection can be improved significantly by splitting a macroscopic sensing surface into multiple microscopic neighboring sensing and referencing subareas.
