The complex (ReO3)-O-VII(oxinate) (oxine = 8-quinolinol or 8-hydroxyquinoline) shows a green fluorescence at lambda (max) = 511 nm with phi = 0.012 and a very weak red phosphorescence at lambda (max) = 645 nm.
