This work deals with the reaction of cyanido complexes of the metals nickel, palladium and platinum with polyanions of the pnictide group in liquid ammonia. Additional insights into already known anions, such as [(µ,η²˸²-As₂)(Ni(CN)₂)₂]⁴⁻ oder As₁₄⁴⁻ could be gained and novel structural motifs could also be investigated. In addition to the characterization of the compounds found by means of single-crystal structure analysis, structural optimizations of the essential particles were carried out by quantum chemical calculations and the steric behavior of certain structures, such as the configuration isomers of the [(η²-P₉)Ni(CN)₂]³⁻- anion, were explained. With the help of the ELF and NBO models, it was also possible to make statements about the binding behavior of the complex anions.
