Abstract (German)
Die Arbeit behandelt die Frage der Vererbbarkeit kryptografischen Vermögens und die Handhabe von Kryptovermögen in Testamenten und anderen Verfügungen von Todes wegen.
Die Arbeit befasst sich insbesondere mit
1. den technischen Grundlagen des Kryptovermögens,
2. der Frage nach dem Anknüpfungsobjekt der Vererbbarkeit bei Kryptovermögen und
3. dem Umgang mit dem Kryptonachlass anhand der Gestaltungsmittel des Bürgerlichen Gesetzbuches.
Translation of the abstract (English)
The thesis examines the inheritability of cryptographic assets and the management of crypto assets in wills and other dispositions upon death.
It focuses in particular on
1. the technical foundations of crypto assets,
2. the question of the object to which inheritability attaches in the context of digital assets, and
3. the handling of crypto estates using the instruments provided by the German Civil Code.
