Abstract

We have investigated strongly modulated one- dimensional lateral superlattices in the quantum Hall regime. Although the modulation amplitude is comparable to the Fermi energy in the system, giving rise to zero magnetic field square resistances of up to 75 k¦¸, we observe nearly dissipationless transport across the barriers at integer filling factors.
