The aim of this thesis was to study the formation and stabilization of vesicles in mixed surfactant systems. Catanionic surfactant mixtures were chosen, because they were shown to form vesicle spontaneously under certain conditions and exhibit an enhanced sensitivity to outside parameters, such as temperature or the presence of salts.
