Abstract

We recently investigated specific ion effects near a single charged self-assembled monolayer (SAM) in a salt soln. by exploiting a modified Poisson-Boltzmann equation that accounts for both water profile and ion-surface potential profiles inferred from mol. dynamics simulations.
