Abstract (English)

Chemotherapy of primary and secondary brain tumors is hampered by the existence of the blood-brain-barrier (BBB) which reduce the brain concentrations of lipophilic cytostatic agents by efflux transport proteins like p-glycoprotein 170 (p-gp).
