Abstract (English)

The Cauchy problem is considered for the scalar wave equation in the Schwarzschild geometry. We derive an integral spectral representation for the solution and prove pointwise decay in time. We also develop and prove the exact decay rate for spherical symmetric initial data.

Translation of the abstract (German)

Es wird das Cauchy-Problem der skalaren Wellengleichung in der Schwarzschild-Geometrie betrachtet. Wir leiten eine Integraldarstellung für die Lösung her und beweisen für festen Ort Abfall in der Zeit. Anschließend entwickeln und beweisen wir die exakte Abfallrate für sphärisch symmetrische Anfangsdaten.
