Abstract (German)
Im ungematchten Vergleich zeigt die hypotherme Behandlung einen kleinen, jedoch mess-baren Benefit in Bezug auf die gesundheitsbezogene Lebensqualität auf, der jedoch durch die Ergebnisse im Paarvergleich nicht bekräftigt, sondern eher abgeschwächt wird.
Eine Erklärung dafür, dass kein Unterschied im gemachten Vergleich gemessen wurde, könnte die geringe Power, bedingt durch das Studiendesign, sein.
Zu diesem Zweck sind weitere Studien mit größeren Patientenzahlen nötig.
Translation of the abstract (English)
An improved quality of life could be proven in the group of mild hypothermia with regard to two variables of the sicknes impact profile compared to the group treated with normothermia.
