Egal wo man hinsieht und was man recherchiert: es gibt Darstellungen der verschiedensten Theorien, Modelle und Hypothesen über Ontologie und Funktionsweise von Humor, Komik und Lachen. Des Weiteren gibt es unzählige Beispiele dazu. Es ist aber bisher nichts zu finden über eine Zusammenschau von allem, aus der hervorgeht, welche notwendigen und hinreichenden Bedingungen es für kognitives Lachen gibt. Über die Ursachen kognitiven (begründeten, verständigen) Lachens gibt es sehr wenig Forschungsergebnisse und wenig aussagekräftige Literatur (d.h. warum lachen die Menschen). In dieser Arbeit wird das Thema �Lachkriterien� aus linguistischer und kognitionswissenschaftlicher Sicht überblicksartig zusammengeschaut. Das Phänomen �Lachen� ist nicht nur eine theoretische Angelegenheit der Wissenschaft, sondern hat unmittelbar mit dem realen Leben zu tun. Daher kann man das Phänomen �Lachen� letztlich aufgrund des Kontextes und mannigfaltiger Einflüsse nicht im Labor simulieren und bis ins letzte Detail untersuchen. Dennoch wird in dieser Arbeit ein erster Schritt versucht, grundlegende Kriterien menschlichen Lachens durch eine theoretisch-konzeptuelle Erforschung der Thematik in Art und Umfang herauszuarbeiten. Hierzu werden interessante Aspekte aus der Literatur herausgegriffen und in ein kohärentes Gesamtbild gesetzt, um eine neue Sichtweise auf das Thema �Lachen� zu erlangen. Damit sollen die Grundlagen einer neuen Methode für die Erforschung der Kriterien des Lachens gelegt werden. Nach einem kurzen geschichtlichen Abriss der Theorien des Lachens werden die bekanntesten davon ausführlicher vorgestellt. Insbesondere wird Lachen strikt von Lächeln getrennt und nur auf die Kriterien für das Lachen aus rationalen Gründen eingegangen. Dabei kommen verschiedene Verfahren zum Einsatz: Begriffsklärung, sprachliche Analyse, Findung von Bedingungen a priori für das Lachen durch die Reflektion und synergetische Filterung bisheriger Theorien des Lachens, erkenntnistheoretische sowie phänomenologische, sprachphilosophische, empirische und metaphysische Analyse. Lachen aus unbegründeten Gefühlen, Launen oder Stimmungen heraus wird nicht untersucht. Anhand einer Aufzählung von Bedingungen der Möglichkeit für Lachen werden die Kriterien des Lachens analytisch ermittelt. Dazu gehören Bedingungen für �positives� als auch für �negatives� Lachen ebenso wie kontextsensitive, intersubjektive und interkulturelle Bedingungen. Diese Untersuchung führt schließlich zu den notwendigen und hinreichenden Bedingungen des Lachens. Fürderhin lässt sich ableiten, dass das Komische sowohl über eine Tiefenstruktur als auch über eine Oberflächenstruktur verfügen muss: eine notwendige, allgemeine, Kultur- und kontextunabhängige Tiefenstruktur des Komischen, sowie eine hinreichende, subjektive, Kultur- und kontextabhängige Oberflächenstruktur des Komischen. Das Lachen setzt mit Erfüllung sowohl der notwendigen als auch der hinreichenden Kriterien des Komischen ein. Verständiges �überlegtes� Lachen ist ein komplexes kognitives Phänomen, das eine intersubjektive, interkulturelle und sprachliche kognitive Leistung voraussetzt. Die Unterscheidung von notwendigen und hinreichenden Kriterien des Lachens als auch die Unterscheidung von Tiefen- und Oberflächenstruktur des Komischen stellt eine adäquate Methode dar, die Kriterien des Lachens sowohl kontextunabhängig als auch kontextabhängig zu ermitteln. Die Unterschiede in diesen Strukturen werden anhand von Beispielen beschrieben. Die intersubjektive sprachliche Konzeptualisierung ist Bedingung der Möglichkeit menschlichen Lachens. Alle Disziplinen, die zur inhaltlichen Bestimmung dieser Konzepte beitragen können, sind dabei gefordert, dies zu tun. Dabei ist es z.B. nötig, den aktuellen Stand der Humorforschung adäquat zusammenzufassen, um daraus das Konzentrat an grundlegenden Theorien, Konzepten und Begriffen zu finden. Zusätzlich sind weitergehende, vor allem empirische Untersuchungen nötig, um die bisher gefundenen Kriterien des Lachens verifizieren und weiter spezifizieren zu können. Künftige Forschung muss zeigen, ob diese komplexe und herausfordernde Aufgabe zu lösen ist.

Translation of the abstract (English)

Everywhere one looks and investigates: there are all sorts of theories, models and hypotheses about the ontology and the principles of humor and laughter. Furthermore, there are innumerable examples for them. However, until now, nothing can be found about an overall view of all aspects from which the necessary and sufficient conditions for cognitive laughter result. In addition, there are very few research results and little meaningful literature (i.e. why the people laugh) about the causes of cognitive (well-founded, understanding) laughter. In this work, the topic $\"$ laughing criteria $\"$ is seen from the linguistic and the cognitive point of view. The phenomenon $\"$ laughter $\"$ is not only a theoretical matter of science but is directly involved with real life. In the end, therefore one cannot simulate the phenomenon $\"$ laughter $\"$ in the laboratory to examine it in detail because of the context and diverse influences. Nevertheless, as a first step, in this work it is tried to work out basic criteria of human laughter by theoretical and conceptual investigation of the topic regarding its way and scale. Thereby, interesting aspects are picked out from the literature about laughter and put into a coherent overall picture to attain a new position on the $\"$ laughter $\"$ topic. With that, the basis of a new method for the investigation of cognitive criteria for human laughter can be founded. After a short historical demolition of the theories of the laughter the best known ones are introduced. In particular, laughing is strictly separated from smiling. Laughter is caused by rational reasons, i.e. cognitive criteria, are considered. Thereby, different methods are employed: concept clarification, language analysis, finding of conditions for the laughter a priori by reflection and synergetic filtration of previous theories of the laughter as well as epistemological, phenomenological, philosophical, empirical, and metaphysical analysis. Laughter caused by unfounded feelings, moods, or atmospheres is not examined. The criteria of the laughter are found out analytically by enumerating and checking the conditions for the possibility of laughter including conditions for $\"$ positive $\"$ and for $\"$ negative $\"$ laughter as well as context sensitive, inter subjective and intercultural conditions. Finally, this examination leads to necessary and sufficient conditions of laughter. From this, a necessary, general, linguistic depth structure of the funny which is independent of culture and context as well as an adequate, subjective, linguistic surface structure of the funny which depends on culture and context can be derived. Cognitive (reasonable) human laughter starts with the fulfillment of both the necessary and the sufficient criteria of the funny. Understanding $\"$ well-considered $\"$ laughter is a complex cognitive phenomenon which presupposes inter-subjective (partly inter-cultural) cognitive and linguistic processes. The distinction of necessary and sufficient criteria of the laughter and the distinction of depths and surface structure of the funny represents an adequate method to find the criteria of the laughter out from both, context independently and context-dependently. The differences in these structures are described using some examples. Inter-subjective linguistic conceptualization is a precondition for (cognitive and comprehensive) human laughter. All disciplines which can contribute for the regulation of these concepts and their content are demanded to do this. E.g., it is necessary to combine the current state of humor research adequately to find the condensed extract for basic theories and concepts. In special, empirical studies have to be done to verify the analytically found criteria for human laughter. Future research must show whether this complex and provocative task can be solved adequately or not.
