Der „ICD-10-Symptom-Rating“ (ISR) [17] ist ein neuer Selbstbeurteilungsfragebogen, der 29 Items in einer ersten Stufe eines zweistufigen Projektes umfasst. Die Depressionsskala des ISR wurde als eine seiner sechs Skalen an 969 in psychosomatischen Kliniken behandelten Patienten mit der Depressionsskala der SCL-90-R [7] und dem BDI I [10] kreuzvalidiert. Das Instrument orientiert sich streng an der syndromalen Struktur des weltweit akzeptierten ICD-10 [5]. Die Stichprobe wies ein hohes Mass an Komorbidität zwischen F- und somatischen Diagnosen auf. Die Korrelation zwischen der aus 4 Fragen bestehenden ISR-Depressionsskala und der SCL-90-Depressionskala betrug im arithmetischen Mittel vor und nach Behandlung r=0,78. Dies übertrifft die Korrelation zwischen SCL-90-R und dem BDI I von r=0,76. Die Korrelation des ISR mit dem BDI I betrug r=0,76.

The „ICD-10-Symptom-Rating“ (ISR) [17] is a new 29 item-self-rating questionary as the first level of a two level public domain project. The depression-scale of the ISR as one of its six scales was validated on 969 depressive inpatients via SCL-90-R [7] and BDI I [10]. The instrument was developed to represent closely the syndrome structure of the ICD-10 [5] while assessing the extent of psychological distress an individual suffers from. The inpatients were treated in psychosomatic clinics with a high comorbidity of F- and somatic diagnoses.
The correlation between the ISR-depression-scale consisting of four questions and the SCL-90-R-depression scale was in the arythmetic middle r=0,78 between beginning and end of treatment, which is higher than the correlation between the SCL-90-R-depression scale and the BDI I r=0,76. In this study,
the correlation between the ISR and the BDI I was r=0,76 .
