Abstract

A 3-D supramolecular assembly of {Fe-10} molecular wheels, [Fe(CH3O)(2)(O2CCH2O - Ph)](10) center dot 6H(2)O ( 1) with tubular structure was successfully prepared by a novel approach of simple modification of the building blocks for making symmetric clusters, Fe-10.
