Stickstoff. - Aus α-Narkotindiol (8) entsteht mit K-tert. butylat/Benzophenon nicht α-Anhydronarkotindiol7),
sondern eine Quettamin-ähnliche Verbindung 9 ohne Racemisierung am Benzyl-C.
α-Narcotine (3), ß-Hydrastine (6) and their reduction products bind B H 3 coordinatively at the N
atom. α-Narcotinediol (8) when treated with potassium tert.butylate and benzophenone does not
yield α-anhydronarcotinediol7) but leads to a quettamine-like compound 9 without racemisation at the
benzyl C atom.
