Abstract

We study the correlation energy, the effective anisotropy parameter, and quantum fluctuations of the pseudospin magnetization in bilayer quantum Hall systems at total filling factor ν=1 by means of exact diagonalizations of the Hamiltonian in the spherical geometry.
