The two-volume study provides the critical edition of an account book kept by the Straubing ducal notary Hans Kastenmayr (died 1437); it records the total revenue and expenses of the Lower Bavarian part of the duchy of Straubing-Holland (1353-1425/29) taking into account a previous draft book.
