Abstract (English)

The hydrothermal preparation of N-doped C-dots from starch and L-tryptophan which was developed and optimized represents a simple and sustainable synthetic method to obtain a highly interesting carbon nanomaterial for bioanalytical applications. These particles exhibit a size distribution between 0.5 and 4.5 nm with an average size of (1.6 ±0.8) nm. They furthermore show a high functionalization ...

Translation of the abstract (German)
