Abstract (German)

Die vorliegende Arbeit beinhaltet Untersuchungen zur Synthese und Strukturchemie neuer Chalkogenidometallate und heteroatomarer Clusteranionen der Gruppe 14 und 15 in flüssigem Ammoniak.
Durch Solvatation von ternären Chalkogenidometallaten in flüssigem Ammoniak konnten neue Solvatverbindungen erhalten werden. Anhand dieser Verbindungen lassen sich neue Erkenntnisse über die Aussagekraft von Ionenradien und die strukturchemische Rolle des Ammoniaks bei der Stabilität von Solvatkristallen gewinnen.
Mittels Reaktion der binären Arsenchalkogenide As4S4 oder As4Se4 mit Metalllösungen gelang es, neue Thio- und Selenidoarsenate zu erhalten. So konnten die systematischen Präparationsversuche für Thiometallate über diese Route ergänzt und die Synthesebedingungen dieser komplexen Reaktionsabläufe näher untersucht werden. Dadurch konnten wichtige Informationen für nachfolgende Versuche zur Darstellung gemischter Gruppe 15/16 Clusteranionen abgeleitet werden.
Durch reine Solvatation in flüssigem Ammoniak gelang zum ersten Mal die Isolierung und röntgenografische Charakterisierung eines echten Thiosilicatderivates aus Lösung. Dadurch konnten bisherige Überlegungen zur Reaktion von SiS2 in Ammoniak endgültig widerlegt werden.
DFT-Rechnungen mit Analyse der Elektronenlokalisierungsfunktion (ELF) wurden für verschiedene gemischte Gruppe 15/16 Anionen durchgeführt. Hierdurch konnte die chemische Bindung in diesen Clusteranionen charakterisiert und strukturelle Besonderheiten erklärt werden.

Translation of the abstract (English)

This thesis includes investigations on the synthesis and structural chemistry of new chalcogenidometalates and heteroatomic cluster anions of group 14 and 15 in liquid ammonia.
Solvation of ternary chalcogenidometalates in liquid ammonia yields new solvates providing insights about the relevance of ionic radii and the role of ammonia concerning the stability of solvate crystals.
New thio and selenidoarsenates are obtained by reactions of As4S4 or As4Se4 in metallic solutions. Thus, systematic attempts in the synthesis of thiometalates can be extended via this route and important informations for future preparations of mixed group 15/16 cluster anions can be derived.
For the first time, a genuine thiosilicate can be isolated and characterized from solution. Consequently, former considerations about the reaction of SiS2 in liquid ammonia can be refuted.
Several mixed group 15/16 anions have been investigated theoretically by DFT calculations and analyses of the electron localization function. In this way, the chemical bonding can be characterized and structural peculiarities can be explained.
