Abstract (English)

This thesis introduces ternary and quaternary polymeric phosphorus chalcogenide compounds. Five such compounds,alpha-P2S6Se, beta-P2S6Se, P2S6Te, P2S6.35Se0.64, and P2S5SeTe were synthesised by using hexa-hydrated ferric chloride as mineraliser and characterised.
