Abstract
A new wave of Spanish migration followed the economic and financial crisis of 2008. Driven by the dissatisfaction with politics and inspired by the 15-M-movement, the Spanish collective Marea Granate emerged. It aims to increase the visibility of the situation faced by Spanish migrants. This article deals with the activity of the collective from a transnational perspective, creating a profile of the people involved and seeking to establish what impact the movement and its initiatives have had on Spanish politics.
