We developed a novel kind of branched heterostructure by hydrothermal growth of ZnSnO3 nanostructures on TiO2 electrospun nanofibers, and demonstrated its enhanced ability to sense humidity through a sequential cactus-inspired tailoring of the ZnSnO3 nanostructures.
