Zusammenfassung

APC, a tumor suppressor gene in the Wnt pathway, stabilizes beta-catenin and controls cell growth. Mutation of APC or beta-catenin leads to nuclear accumulation of beta-catenin and transcription of cyclin D1/cyclin A.
