Abstract

Five tacrine-ferulic acid hybrids (6a-e) were designed and synthesized as multi-potent anti-Alzheimer drug candidates. All target compounds have better acetylcholinesterase inhibitory activity and comparable butyrylcholinesterase inhibitory activity in relation to tacrine.
