The lead(II) beta-diketonates Pb(acac)(2), Pb(hfac)(2), Pb(tta)(2), Pb(dbm)(2) and Pb(dpm)(2) with acac = acetylacetonate, hfac = hexafluoroacetylacetonate, tta = thenoyltrifluoroacetonate, dbm = dibenzoylmethanate and dpm = dipivaloylmethanate show an intraligand (IL) phosphorescence in low temperature glasses.
