Abstract (English)

About 10% of the patients suffering from arterial hypertension present abnormal production of aldosterone by the adrenal gland. Cell depolarization is a pivotal event in triggering aldosterone secretion in adrenal zona glomerulosa cells when stimulated by angiotensin II and hyperkalemia.
