Ziel dieser Arbeit was es die Rolle von SNTB2 in Adipozyten zu beleuchten. Als molekulares Adapterprotein wurde SNTB2 bisher vorrangig im Muskel untersucht, wenngleich in dieser Arbeit deutlich wurde, dass die Expression von SNTB2 in den verschiedenen Fettdepots ausgeprägter war. Das Fettgewebe scheint neben dem Muskel, der Milz und der Leber die Hauptquelle der SNTB2 Expression zu sein. Hier ...


Translation of the abstract (English)

The aim of the current thesis was to study the role of beta2-Syntrophin (SNTB2) in adipocytes. The molecular adapter protein SNTB2 has been primarily investigated in muscle, although this work clearly demonstrated that SNTB2 is highly expressed in different adipose tissues. Beside the muscle, the spleen, and the liver, the adipose tissue appears to be a tissue with prominent SNTB2 expression. ...
