Abstract (English)

Uniformly finite homology was introduced by Block and Weinberger to study large-scale structures of metric spaces having bounded geometry. It is a coarse invariant in the sense that quasi-isometric metric spaces have isomorphic uniformly finite homology.
In this thesis several aspects of uniformly finite homology are studied. In particular, we compute the uniformly finite homology of finitely generated amenable groups in many cases. We study the injectivity of some cross-products maps in uniformly finite homology and we prove that the uniformly finite homology of products of certain non-amenable simplicial complexes is trivial in low degrees. In the last part, we introduce a semi-norm on uniformly finite homology and we use it to study rigidity results for certain metric spaces.

In dieser Dissertation, untersuchen wir verschiedene Aspekte der gleichmäßig-beschränkten Homologie. Wir berechnen die gleichmäßig-beschränkte Homologie von endlich erzeugten amenable Gruppen in vielen Fällen. Wir untersuchen die Injektivität von einigen Kreuzprodukt-Abbildungen für die gleichmäß-beschränkte Homologie und wir beweisen dass die gleichmäßig-beschränkte Homologie von Produkten gewisser nicht-amenabler Simplizialkomplexe in niedrigen Graden null ist. Im letzen Teil, definieren wir eine Halbnorm auf der gleichmäßig-beschränkten Homologie und wir benutzen sie, um die Rigidität von gewissen metrischen Räumen zu untersuchen.
