Die Dissertation „Usbekische Personennamen – Etymologie, Grammatik, Pragmatik“ untersucht, welche etymologische Herkunft usbekische Personennamen haben und welche linguistischen Besonderheiten sie in Morphologie, Syntax und Pragmatik im Vergleich zu Appellativen aufweisen. Es werden hauptsächlich usbekische PersN behandelt, sie werden aber auch, wenn es der Zielsetzung dient, im Kontrast zu deutschen PersN analysiert.

Translation of the abstract (English)

The dissertation "Uzbek Personal Names - Etymology, Grammar, and Pragmatics" examines the etymological origin of Uzbek personal names and their linguistic peculiarities in morphology, syntax and pragmatics compared to appellatives. Mainly Uzbek personal names are dealt with, but they are also analyzed in contrast to German personal names if it serves the purpose.
