Abstract (German)
Die vorliegende Dissertation widmet sich der Untersuchung der multiprofessionellen Kooperation zwischen Lehrkräften und weiterem pädagogisch tätigem Personal in gebundenen Ganztagsklassen an Grundschulen. Dabei wird die Bedeutung der multiprofessionellen Kooperation als wesentliches Qualitätsmerkmal für die Ganztagsbildung herausgestellt. Im Gegensatz zur Kooperation zwischen Lehrkräften ist die multiprofessionelle Kooperation, insbesondere im Kontext der gebundenen Ganztagsklassen an Grundschulen, bisher wenig erforscht.
Die Studie verfolgt das Ziel, verschiedene Formen der multiprofessionellen Kooperation in gebundenen Ganztagsklassen zu identifizieren und gleichzeitig wesentliche strukturelle Bedingungen für eine erfolgreiche multiprofessionelle Kooperation zu untersuchen. Zudem werden die Zusammenhänge zwischen den verschiedenen Formen der multiprofessionellen Kooperation, der Arbeitszufriedenheit der Lehrkräfte und ihrer Entlastung untersucht. Hierfür wurden Daten von N = 222 Klassenlehrkräften von gebundenen Ganztagsklassen in einem quantitativ-querschnittlichen Design mittels eines Fragebogens erhoben.
Die Studie nimmt in deskriptiven Analysen zunächst organisatorische Rahmenbedingungen von gebundenen Ganztagsklassen in den Fokus, die die Ausgangslage für multiprofessionelle Kooperation bilden (Forschungsfrage 1). Es wird deutlich, dass Lehrkräfte hauptsächlich unterrichtsnahe Tätigkeiten übernehmen, während weiteres pädagogisch tätiges Personal vermehrt mit Aufgaben betraut ist, die die Betreuung, die Freizeitgestaltung und das Mittagessen der Schüler:innen betreffen. Außerdem zeigt sich, dass die Mehrheit der Schulleiter:innen keine Vorgaben zur multiprofessionellen Kooperation macht. Feste Besprechungszeiten zwischen Lehrkräften und weiterem pädagogisch tätigem Personal gibt es nur vereinzelt. Als Grund dafür werden unter anderem fehlende Zeitfenster genannt.
Im Rahmen von Forschungsfrage 2 werden Ausstattungsmerkmale von gebundenen Ganztagsklassen deskriptiv untersucht. Die Bewertung der Raum-, Material- und Personalausstattung durch die Lehrkräfte fällt insgesamt positiv aus. Den meisten Klassen steht ein Unterrichtsraum zur Verfügung; Nebenräume oder der Flur werden zusätzlich für Arbeitsphasen genutzt. Im Bereich der Personalausstattung kann die Gruppe der weiteren pädagogisch tätigen Personen als heterogene Gruppe beschrieben werden, die sich aus pädagogischem Fachpersonal und pädagogischen Laien zusammensetzt.
Im Fokus der dritten Forschungsfrage steht die Struktur des Konstrukts multiprofessionelle Kooperation in gebundenen Ganztagsklassen. In konfirmatorischen Faktorenanalysen können die drei Kooperationsformen: multiprofessioneller Austausch, multiprofessionelle Arbeitsorganisation auf Unterrichtsebene und multiprofessionelle Arbeitsorganisation auf Schüler:innenebene empirisch getrennt werden. Die Kooperationsform, die in der Stichprobe am meisten ausgeprägt ist, ist die multiprofessionelle Arbeitsorganisation auf Schüler:innenebene, gefolgt von der Kooperationsform multiprofessioneller Austausch. Multiprofessionelle Arbeitsorganisation auf Unterrichtsebene ist in geringem Maße vorhanden.
Die Arbeitszufriedenheit und die Entlastung bei Lehrkräften werden in Forschungsfrage 4 in den Blick genommen. Auch diese beiden Konstrukte sind konfirmatorisch trennbar. Lehrkräfte in der Stichprobe weisen im Mittel eine hohe Arbeitszufriedenheit auf. Die Zustimmung zur Skala Entlastung fällt geringer aus.
Darüber hinaus zeigt die Untersuchung, dass bestimmte Formen der multiprofessionellen Kooperation in gebundenen Ganztagsklassen in Zusammenhang stehen mit der Arbeitszufriedenheit oder Entlastung der Lehrkräfte (Forschungsfrage 5). So kann anhand eines Strukturgleichungsmodells bestätigt werden, dass die Kooperationsform multiprofessioneller Austausch in positivem Zusammenhang mit der Arbeitszufriedenheit der Lehrkräfte steht. Ein weiterer positiver Zusammenhang besteht zwischen der multiprofessionellen Arbeitsorganisation auf Schüler:innenebene und der Entlastung, die Lehrkräfte durch multiprofessionelle Kooperation empfinden.
Die vorliegende Dissertation trägt somit zur Vertiefung des Verständnisses über die Bedeutung und Gestaltung der multiprofessionellen Kooperation im Kontext der Ganztagsbildung bei. Die Erkenntnisse bieten wertvolle Impulse für die Lehrkräfteprofessionalisierung und die Schulentwicklung, um die Qualität der Ganztagsbildung zu steigern und Lehrkräfte effektiv zu unterstützen. Die Arbeit unterstreicht die Bedeutung einer differenzierten Betrachtung von Kooperationsformen und strukturellen Rahmenbedingungen im Bildungskontext.

This study examines multi-professional cooperation between teachers and other educational staff in all-day classes in primary schools. Multi-professional cooperation is a fundamental quality feature of all-day education. In contrast to cooperation between teachers, there has been relatively little research on multi-professional cooperation, especially in the context of all-day classes in primary schools.
The aim of the study is to identify different forms of multi-professional cooperation in all-day school classes and at the same time to examine the essential structural conditions for successful multi-professional cooperation. In addition, the study investigates the relationships between different forms of multi-professional cooperation, teachers' job satisfaction and their sense of relief. For this purpose, data were collected from N = 222 classroom teachers in all-day classes using a quantitative cross-sectional questionnaire design.
In the descriptive analyses, the study first focuses on the organisational framework of all-day schools, which forms the basis for multi-professional cooperation (research question 1). It appears that teachers are mainly involved in teaching activities, while other pedagogical staff are more involved in tasks related to pupil care, leisure activities and lunch. Furthermore, the majority of headteachers do not provide guidelines for multi-professional cooperation. Fixed meeting times between teachers and other pedagogical staff are only sporadically established, for reasons that include a lack of available time slots.
Research question 2 looks descriptively at the physical characteristics of all-day school. Teachers' evaluations of the facilities in terms of rooms, materials and staff are generally positive. Most classes have a dedicated classroom and additional rooms such as side rooms or the corridor are used for work phases. In terms of staffing, the group of other pedagogical staff can be described as a heterogeneous group consisting of educational professionals and lay educators.
The third research question focuses on the structure of the construct of multi-professional cooperation in all-day schools. Confirmatory factor analyses show that three forms of cooperation can be empirically distinguished: multi-professional exchange, multi-professional organisational work at teacher level and multi-professional organisational work at pupil level. The most pronounced form of cooperation in the sample is multi-professional organisational work at student level, followed by the form of cooperation: multi-professional exchange. Multi-professional organisational work at the teacher level is less common.
Teachers' job satisfaction and relief are examined in research question 4. These two constructs are also distinguished in the confirmatory factor analysis. On average, teachers in the sample report high levels of job satisfaction. However, agreement with the relief scale is lower. Furthermore, the study shows that certain forms of multi-professional cooperation in all-day schools are related to teachers' job satisfaction or relief (research question 5). Thus, a structural equation model confirms that the form of cooperation, multi-professional exchange, is positively related to teachers' job satisfaction. There is also a positive relationship between multi-professional organisational work at pupil level and teachers' perceived relief from multi-professional cooperation.
Therefore, this dissertation contributes to a deeper understanding of the importance and design of multi-professional cooperation in the context of all-day education. The findings provide valuable insights for teacher professionalisation and school development in order to improve the quality of all-day education and to support teachers effectively. The study underlines the importance of a differentiated consideration of forms of cooperation and structural frameworks in the educational context.
